IRIS Software Group Enhances Leadership with Two Key Appointments

IRIS Software Group, a prominent global provider of accountancy, payroll, HR, and education solutions, has announced two significant executive appointments aimed at advancing its growth strategy. Jens Ulrik Knudsen joins as Chief Financial Officer, while Shemin Nurmohamed has been named President and General Manager for the Americas, effective December 1, 2025 and January 2, 2026 respectively.

New Financial Leadership with Jens Ulrik Knudsen

Jens Ulrik Knudsen brings over 20 years of international finance experience to IRIS, having previously served as the Interim Group CFO at Aceve, a private equity-backed SaaS platform. During his tenure at Aceve, he collaborated with the CEO to modernize financial operations, implement a successful acquisition strategy, and enhance operational readiness, ultimately facilitating substantial growth. Prior to that, he was the CFO of Globus Wine, where he executed a comprehensive financial overhaul that significantly boosted profitability.

In his role at IRIS, Knudsen will manage the company’s financial strategy and operations, focusing on strategic investments that enhance the value delivered to customers. His extensive background in finance aligns with IRIS’s goals of sustainable and profitable growth.

Shemin Nurmohamed to Drive North American Growth

As President and General Manager for the Americas, Shemin Nurmohamed will spearhead IRIS’s strategic expansion in North America, a key market for the company. With more than 25 years of experience in scaling technology and SaaS businesses globally, Nurmohamed is well-equipped to enhance customer experiences and accelerate innovation. She previously held the position of President of Sending Technology Solutions at Pitney Bowes, leading a division that generated $1.3 billion in revenue. Her experience also includes a 17-year tenure at IBM, where she took on various global finance and operational leadership roles, including CFO for IBM Systems.

“I am excited to welcome Jens and Shemin to our leadership team,” said Jason Dies, CEO of IRIS Software Group. “Their expertise will be crucial as we pursue our ambitious growth objectives. Jens’s financial acumen and Shemin’s track record in customer experience will be instrumental as we strengthen our presence in North America and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”

The strategic appointments come as IRIS aims to enhance its operational capabilities and market presence, underlining its commitment to providing innovative solutions that streamline complex processes for over 100,000 clients in 135 countries.

As part of this transition, IRIS acknowledges the contributions of former CFO Michael Cox, who served for seven years, and Jim Dunham, former President and General Manager for North America, who led the company’s expansion efforts in the region for three years. Both executives played pivotal roles in IRIS’s trajectory of growth and development.

With these new appointments, IRIS Software Group is poised to embark on a new chapter aimed at delivering substantial value and enhanced service to its global customer base. As the company adapts to the evolving market landscape, the leadership team is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for employees and clients alike.
