Delta Line Launches New Leo B3800 and B860 Servo Drives

Delta Line has expanded its Brushless DC drives family with the introduction of two new servo drives: the Leo B3800 and Leo B860. These additions aim to cater to a variety of application needs, enhancing Delta Line’s already comprehensive motor offering.

Introducing the Leo B3800: High Performance

The new Leo B3800 is designed for maximum power, boasting impressive specifications that enable it to drive Delta Line’s most robust servo motors. Key features include a phase current of up to 80 A rms and a peak current of 240 A for two seconds. It can output up to 3,800 W of power and operates on a power supply ranging from 12 to 60 VDC.

This drive is equipped with an integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) feature, rated SIL3/Ple, ensuring safety during operation. Additionally, it supports both incremental and absolute encoders and is compatible with major industrial fieldbus protocols such as CANopen, EtherCAT, Modbus, Profinet, Powerlink, and Ethernet/IP. The compact and robust design includes built-in protections against overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, and short circuits, making it a reliable choice for demanding applications.

Introducing the Leo B860: Compact and Cost-Effective

In contrast, the Leo B860 offers a more compact solution, positioned as a cost-effective alternative within the Delta Line range. It provides a balance of performance and affordability, making it ideal for projects with tighter budgets. The Leo B860 supports a phase current of up to 18 A rms and peak current of 54 A for two seconds, with an output power of up to 860 W.

Similar to the B3800, it operates on a power supply of 12 to 60 VDC and includes the integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) feature rated SIL3/Ple. Its compact design is particularly suited for applications where space is limited, while still maintaining compatibility with all major industrial fieldbus protocols.

Delta Line’s new offerings are set to enhance flexibility across various sectors, including intralogistics and robotics, as well as more complex industrial machinery. The introduction of the Leo B3800 and B860 underscores Delta Line’s commitment to providing intelligent, safe, and scalable motion control solutions. These products are designed to assist machine builders and system integrators in navigating the challenges posed by modern automation demands.

As Delta Line continues to innovate in the field of motion control, the Leo B3800 and B860 drive families represent significant advancements in performance and versatility for a wide array of applications. For further information about these new products, visit Delta Line’s official website.
