Lunenburg Library Launches Restorative Yoga Sessions Starting January 8

The Lunenburg Public Library invites the community to participate in a new series of restorative yoga and breath work sessions, commencing on January 8, 2024, at 16:00. This 60-minute experience is designed for individuals seeking to enhance both physical vitality and mental clarity. Led by The Traveling Trainer, these classes promise a unique approach to stress relief, mobility, and focus.

Classes Focus on Holistic Well-Being

Participants will engage in a calming, softly lit environment, where each session guides them through fluid postures aimed at lengthening, strengthening, and realigning the body. The incorporation of breath work techniques is intended to help regulate the nervous system, restore balance, and sharpen mental clarity. Each class is carefully curated to foster a sense of calm and control, reducing stress while enhancing mobility.

According to Dave Marchand, strength coach and owner of Traveling Trainer, LLC, “Whether you’re an executive seeking mental focus, a parent reclaiming quiet moments, or someone ready to invest meaningfully in personal well-being, this experience provides a luxury escape from daily noise — without ever leaving town.”

The yoga sessions will occur every other Thursday at the library located at 1023 Massachusetts Ave, running through March. Interested individuals can find more information or register by visiting the library’s website at www.lunenburglibrary.org or by calling 978-582-4140.
