Jerome F. Bartel, aged 91, of Inver Grove Heights, passed away on December 31, 2025. He is remembered fondly by his family and friends as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Bartel’s legacy continues through his loving wife of 68 years, Judith “Judy” Bartel, his children, Susan Carroll and David Bartel, and his grandson, Paxton Carroll.
Memorial Service and Family Tributes
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on January 10, 2026, at Klecatsky & Sons West Chapel, located at 1051 South Robert Street in West St. Paul. Friends and family are invited to gather two hours prior to the service to celebrate Bartel’s life. Following the memorial, a private entombment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in St. Paul.
In addition to his immediate family, Bartel is survived by his brother-in-law, Ted Horner, and many other relatives and friends who will miss his warmth and kindness. The family encourages those wishing to honor Bartel’s memory to consider making a donation to the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul.
