Born on July 25, 1959, in Laguna Beach, California, Debra, affectionately known as Debbie, was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose life revolved around her family and community involvement.
Debbie graduated from San Clemente High School in 1977 and met her future husband, Dave Rozas, on a blind date on February 21, 1986. Their connection was immediate, leading to a marriage just nine months later on November 16, 1986. Together, they built a life that many would aspire to emulate, filled with love and devotion.
The couple welcomed their first son, David, in December 1989, followed by another son, Dillon, in November 1993. Debbie dedicated herself to her children, actively participating in their numerous activities. She was a familiar face at the ball fields, volunteering her time to support the Rolling Hills Little League, as well as contributing to local schools, including Mira Catalina and Peninsula High School. Her commitment to her sons and their interests made her a cherished member of the community.
As a grandmother, Debbie took immense pride in her role, affectionately known as Nana D. She is survived by her husband, Dave; their two sons, David and Dillon; daughters-in-law, Brittany and Alexis; and three grandchildren, Laney, David, and Blake. Her family was the center of her universe, and her legacy of love and support will endure through them.
A memorial service will be held on March 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Green Hills Cemetery in Rancho Palos Verdes. As the community gathers to celebrate her life, they will remember Debbie not only for her unwavering dedication to her family but also for her significant contributions to the local area.
