UPDATE: Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI, has just announced a groundbreaking expansion with a stunning $659 million investment in a new facility at its Memphis data center complex. The new power infrastructure commitments will not only support the supercomputer but also significantly enhance the local electrical grid. Shotwell noted that this installation will provide enough backup power to support the city of Memphis and even Southaven, Mississippi, where the data center resides.

Shotwell announced plans for state-of-the-art water recycling plants that will conserve approximately 4.7 billion gallons of water from the Memphis aquifer each year.
