UPDATE: Liberty Utilities has just announced the successful completion of the Cave Rock Underground Project in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada. This critical initiative aims to enhance service reliability and significantly reduce wildfire risks for the local community.
The project, finalized earlier today, involved extensive upgrades to the electrical infrastructure. Liberty crews installed a total of 745 feet of underground primary lines, 832 feet of underground secondary lines, and an additional 1,100 feet of new covered overhead secondary wires. These improvements not only modernize the grid but also minimize visual impact and environmental disruption, addressing long-standing concerns from the community.
