Wanted Man Arrested After Threatening Hotel Worker in Ohio

UPDATE: A 47-year-old Cleveland man was arrested at approximately 1 p.m. on December 18, 2023, after he threatened a hotel worker at the Extended Stay America on Rosbough Drive. This alarming incident unfolded when the victim attempted to change the locks on the man’s room, prompting a violent outburst from the suspect, who warned the worker to “blow off” his head.

Authorities swiftly intervened, discovering that multiple warrants were pending against the man. He was taken into custody and turned over to Cleveland Police for further processing.

In a separate incident the same day, a 48-year-old woman from Cleveland was apprehended near the Red Roof Inn on Bagley Road. At around 12:30 p.m., police observed her vehicle, a Ford Escape, leaving the hotel parking lot. A check of the temporary tag revealed she was wanted for two misdemeanor offenses, and her driver’s license was suspended. Officers pulled her over and arrested her, coordinating with Lakewood and Richfield Police, both of which had outstanding warrants for her arrest. Lakewood Police have since agreed to pick her up from custody.

In another incident on December 21, outside the Comfort Inn & Suites on Rosbough Drive, a 35-year-old man from Nicholls, Georgia was cited for carrying a concealed weapon after he misled officers during a traffic stop. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Cleveland woman, who was found to be unlicensed. During the search, police discovered a Ruger firearm on the man’s hip, leading to his citation and a court date.

Additionally, earlier on December 18, a 37-year-old Cleveland man was pulled over for displaying improper license plates while exiting the same Red Roof Inn. Police confirmed that the plates belonged to a different vehicle. It was revealed that his driver’s license had been suspended, and the front-seat passenger, a 33-year-old woman, was wanted for theft. Although police could not take her into custody, they advised her to turn herself in to the authorities.
