Gordon Lloyed Grant, a beloved figure in Greenfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2026. Born on February 1, 1950, in Cavite, Philippines, he was the son of Margaret Campbell and Lloyde Grant, who was stationed there during his military service.

Gordon is survived by his devoted wife, Bonny Grant, their sons, Evan Grant and his wife Pam, and Jesse Grant with his fiancée Emily. He also leaves behind granddaughters Miriam and Simone, brothers Bruce, Roger, Dan, and Pete, as well as sisters-in-law Maryanne and Joan. He is remembered fondly by his nieces, Leigh and Kristin, and nephew Joshua.

Throughout his career, Gordon dedicated himself to the information technology sector, initially working in Manhattan before moving to various educational institutions in Vermont. Funeral Arrangements and Community Support

A funeral service honoring Gordon will take place at the Greenfield Hebrew Cemetery on February 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Rabbi Simcha Halpert-Hanson of Temple Israel in Greenfield will officiate the ceremony. Following the service, the Grant family will observe Shivah at their residence, located at 62 Cleveland Street, Greenfield, MA, from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM through February 13, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to organizations that Gordon supported, including Doctors Without Borders, NAMI, ACLU, or the Western Massachusetts Food Bank.
