Evangelistic Outreach Launches Annual Christmas Broadcast This Sunday

The annual Christmas broadcast by Evangelistic Outreach is scheduled for this Sunday, December 21, 2025. The theme for this year’s program is “Follow the Light,” as announced by Dr. Calvin Ray Evans, the head of the ministry.

Viewers can tune in locally on the following channels: WSAZ at 7:30 and 9:00 a.m., WOWK at 8:00 a.m., and WQCW at 8:30 a.m. for those in Portsmouth. The broadcast will also be accessible on YouTube for a wider audience.

Founded in 1956 in Pedro, Ohio, by Dr. Calvin Evans, the ministry has a long-standing tradition of delivering inspirational messages during the holiday season. For decades, it was based in Ironton before relocating to its current site in New Boston in 2015.

This year’s broadcast promises to engage viewers with uplifting content that resonates with the Christmas spirit, emphasizing themes of hope and guidance. As the program airs, it aims to reach both local and international audiences, celebrating the message of light during the festive period.

In addition to the scheduled airtimes, the program’s availability on YouTube allows for greater accessibility, enabling individuals who may not have local broadcasting options to participate in the holiday message.

Evangelistic Outreach continues to be a significant presence in the community, fostering a sense of togetherness during the holiday season. Through its annual broadcasts, the ministry strives to share a message that transcends geographical boundaries, inviting people of all backgrounds to follow the light of hope and joy this Christmas.
