Gia Giudice has expressed her hopes for reconciliation between her mother, Teresa Giudice, and her uncle, Joe Gorga, as the two navigate a long-standing feud. In a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio on October 21, 2024, the 24-year-old voiced her desire for the family to find common ground. “I really do hope they come to just a happy medium,” Gia stated. “And I really just hope for peace for everyone.”

The discord between the Giudice and Gorga families has been a focal point for viewers of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The show’s fourteenth season, which concluded in August 2024, highlighted a significant rift between Teresa and Joe, leading to strained relationships among their children. Gia noted that this feud has affected her relationship with her cousins, the Gorga children. “That’s definitely unfortunate because obviously my mother and father are divorced and I am extremely close to my dad’s side,” she said.

Gia emphasized the possibility of maintaining familial relationships despite conflicts. “We know that it’s possible even though your parents aren’t best friends or stuff didn’t work out, there’s still a way and room to have a relationship,” she explained to hosts Evan Murray-Real and Danny Murphy.

In her current competition on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, Gia remains hopeful that her mother and uncle can move past their differences. “Unfortunately, I think the circumstances were a little different just because it got so crazy on Housewives and it was just a lot,” she reflected. “I’m just hoping for peace and clarity between both of them, and I hope we can come back to at least just peace and respect.”

Earlier in October, Teresa revealed during an appearance on iHeartRadio’s “I Do Part 2” podcast that she intends to meet with Joe and his wife, Melissa Gorga. This announcement came after she previously asserted that reconciliation was unlikely. Teresa stated, “Time does heal all wounds. And when time goes by, you forget things. I want to be a good example for my children.”

Joe confirmed Teresa’s outreach on the October 14 episode of iHeartRadio’s “The Eds” podcast. He expressed his willingness to sit down and discuss their issues but emphasized the need for sincerity. “If I sit down with her and I hear her out, it has to be a lot of … it has to be very humble. It has to be real,” he said.

As the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey remains uncertain, with no official announcements regarding season 15, a source recently reported that cast members including Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, and Melissa have been filming with potential new additions. Meanwhile, Teresa, Jackie Goldschneider, and Jen Fessler have not yet participated in test filming, but they are still under consideration for the upcoming season.

The Giudice and Gorga families continue to capture the attention of audiences, with Gia Giudice’s hopes for reconciliation resonating amid the ongoing family drama. Her plea for peace underscores the complexities of family relationships, particularly in the public eye.
