Goaltender Aerin Frankel showcased her skills by stopping 21 shots, marking her second shutout of the season and solidifying a record of allowing just one goal in her last two games.
The Fleet wasted no time establishing dominance, with Abby Newhook scoring the opening goal just 5 minutes and 2 seconds into the game. Newhook capitalized on a rebound after Emerance Maschmeyer, the Goldeneyes’ goalie, made back-to-back saves. This marked Newhook’s second goal of the season.
