As candles flickered against the night sky, the community displayed balloons and photos, honoring the lives lost in this tragic event. “Every morning, I would get up with the kids, come over, and get them ready for the day,” Sucrese recalled, highlighting the joy the children brought into her life.

Sucrese fondly remembered Ruby, who had just started Kindergarten. “She was just full of joy,” she said, recalling how Ruby would run to her each morning, seeking help to get dressed.
