Houston Police Urgently Seek Help to Catch Armed Carjacking Suspects
UPDATE: The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is urgently seeking public assistance to identify two suspects involved in a shocking carjacking and armed robbery that took place late on September 2. The incident unfolded around 11:30 PM on the 1100 block of Westheimer, where one of the suspects brandished a handgun and forcibly stole the victim’s vehicle.
The stolen car was recovered abandoned just hours later on the 1400 block of Hawthorne, intensifying the urgency for leads in this dangerous case. Authorities are now focusing their efforts on identifying the individuals responsible, recorded under Houston PD reference number 1152686-25.
Officials describe the first suspect as a Black male, aged 50 to 55 years, approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing between 150–160 pounds, and possibly known by the names “Charles” or “UNC.” The second suspect remains unidentified, prompting police to urge anyone with information to step forward.
The implications of this crime are significant, as violent incidents like these pose a direct threat to community safety. The Houston Police Department is emphasizing the importance of public involvement in solving this case.
