L.A. County Opens 140 New Vote Centers Ahead of Nov. 4 Election

BREAKING: Los Angeles County has just announced the opening of an additional 140 vote centers as part of preparations for the upcoming November 4, 2025 statewide special election. This surge in polling locations enhances accessibility for voters as they prepare to weigh in on crucial congressional districting changes.

All 251 vote centers will be operational daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., allowing for in-person voting, voter registration, and vote-by-mail ballot returns. Voters across the county can now take advantage of these extended options to ensure their voices are heard without the last-minute rush.

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, Dean C. Logan, emphasized the importance of early voting, stating, “With all L.A. County Vote Centers open, voters have convenient options to cast their ballot early. Avoid the rush, make a plan to vote early this weekend or Monday at a location that’s convenient for you.”

For voters looking for their nearest locations, a comprehensive list and interactive map are available at locator.lavote.gov. This site even features GPS tracking to help voters identify the closest vote center in real-time.

Notably, eligible voters who may have missed the registration deadline can still participate. They can visit any vote center to complete a “conditional” voter registration and cast their ballot on the spot.

As the election date approaches, the county is working diligently to ensure all voters have what they need to make their decisions without hurdles. This expansion of vote centers marks a significant step in promoting voter participation and accessibility.
