San Jose Woman Arrested for Murder in Fatal Hit-and-Run

BREAKING: A 34-year-old San Jose woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a deadly hit-and-run incident that occurred just before 7:30 PM Sunday night in San Jose. The shocking collision, described by police as an intentional act, left a woman dead in the roadway.

Authorities report that the incident took place at the intersection of Winchester Boulevard and Tisch Way. Officers arrived to find the victim, who was subsequently rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim is pending release by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.

Police Sgt. Jorge Garibay confirmed that preliminary investigations suggest the incident was not accidental, stating that the collision “indicated the collision was an intentional act.” The motive remains unclear as investigations continue.

The suspect, identified as Yanette Beas Solorio, was apprehended approximately two miles from the crime scene in Santa Clara. She is currently being held at the Main Jail in San Jose without bail.
