Three Dead in Catskill Murder-Suicide; Police Investigate

UPDATE: A shocking incident in Catskill, NY, has left three people dead in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide. State police report that Connor Provo, 22, allegedly shot two friends, Clifford Beauchard, 34, and Justin Acevedo, 19, before taking his own life on Friday, December 12, 2023.

Around 12:18 PM, Provo contacted Greene County 911, stating that he had killed his friends at a residence located at 67 Forest View Drive. Upon arrival, law enforcement found Provo deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a trailer on the property.

A subsequent search of the property revealed the two male victims, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The heartbreaking scene has left the community in shock as police work tirelessly to piece together the events that led to this tragic outcome.
