Law enforcement officials from the 108th Precinct responded swiftly after receiving a 911 call, arriving at the scene to find a 27-year-old man with a slash wound to the face and a 25-year-old man suffering from a slash wound to the neck.
Emergency Medical Services transported the older victim to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. The younger man declined medical assistance on-site, according to police sources. A knife was recovered at the scene, raising concerns about the escalating violence in the area.
