Urgent Screening of ‘Vanishing Village’ Film Set for Nov. 1 in Woodstock

URGENT UPDATE: A special screening of the short film “Vanishing Village” is set for November 1, 2023, at the Historical Society of Woodstock. This captivating event, taking place at the Eames Museum located at 20 Comeau Drive, promises to transport attendees back to Woodstock in 1903.

The film, which debuts at this exclusive event, is inspired by Will Rose’s book, “The Vanishing Village.” Lewis Arlt lends his voice to narrate the first chapter, providing a rich historical backdrop complemented by stunning visuals. Following the screening, attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage in a discussion with Arlt and co-producer Janine Fallon Mower, diving into the creative process behind the film.
