Louis Theroux Set to Showcase ‘The Settlers’ at CPH:DOX 2026

British documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux will present his latest work, The Settlers, at the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival (CPH:DOX) in 2026. This marks Theroux’s first appearance at the festival, where he will screen his film and engage in a Q&A session on March 18, 2026.

The documentary explores the experiences of religious-nationalist Israelis who have settled in the occupied West Bank. According to the festival’s synopsis, “Fourteen years after his first visit, Louis Theroux meets some of the growing community” in this region.

CPH:DOX organizers have highlighted Theroux’s reputation as a “genre-defining documentary filmmaker and presenter,” known for his immersive and empathetic storytelling.
