Bruce Krieger, a distinguished member of the International Longshoreman and Warehousemen’s Union Local #13, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on September 20, 2025. His contributions to the union and the community made him a well-respected figure in the harbor area, where he spent much of his life dedicated to advocating for workers’ rights and improving labor conditions.
Krieger’s commitment to his work and his fellow union members earned him admiration across various sectors. Throughout his lengthy career, he was recognized for his leadership and unwavering dedication to the principles of solidarity and fairness in the workplace.
In honor of his legacy, Krieger’s family invites members of the community to join them for a celebration of his life on December 5, 2025. The event will take place at 1 p.m. at the ILWU Memorial Hall, located at 231 W. “C” Street, Wilmington, CA 90744.
