Credit One Bank provided an extraordinary experience for participants from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada during the recent game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Chicago Blackhawks on December 2, 2023. As part of the Bank’s Number One Fan initiative, the event aimed to create lasting memories for local youth and their mentors.
On November 26, the young participants, known as “Littles,” along with their “Bigs,” attended a special event at the Golden Knights’ practice facility. There, they had the chance to skate on the rink, which was a thrilling experience in itself. The highlight of the visit came when they were informed they would also be attending an upcoming home game for the Golden Knights. To prepare for the event, they were taken to the team store to select Knights gear to wear on game day.
On the day of the game, the group received a VIP experience, arriving in style via a private charter bus to T-Mobile Arena. Upon arrival, they enjoyed a pre-game practice viewing before settling into the Credit One Bank suite for the match. The excitement was further heightened by a meet-and-greet with the Golden Knights’ mascot, Chance, and members of the Vegas Vivas dance team. The evening culminated in a thrilling 4-3 shootout victory for the Golden Knights, adding to the overall excitement of the night.
