Jean A. Bergman, aged 84, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Florida following a brief battle with cancer. Formerly a resident of Inver Grove Heights, she is remembered for her deep love for her family and her creative spirit.

She is survived by her children, Ken Bergman (Lisa Blee) and Jeff Bergman (Jenny), along with her brother-in-law Ron Bergman of Washington and sister-in-law Judy Weber of North Carolina. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Corey (Maddie), Tess (William), Max (Peyton), Devin, and Sophia, as well as her great-grandchild Callen. Jean also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Early Life and Career

Jean was born and raised in Acme, Michigan, where she developed a passion for learning that led her to attend Michigan State University. Throughout her career, she worked in administration for various companies, dedicating a significant portion of her professional life to the Inver Grove Heights Police Department.

Her commitment to public service mirrored her dedication to her family and community. Jean’s talents extended beyond her career; she was widely known for her passion for golf and her skills in arts and crafts. She often engaged her family in these activities and generously donated her creations to various charitable organizations.

Jean’s family reflects on her life with fondness, noting her unwavering support and the joy she brought to their lives. Her husband, Kenneth Bergman, preceded her in death, along with her parents, Gilbert and Leota Mannor, and her brothers, Jack and Richard Mannor, as well as sister-in-law Joyce Mannor.
