Authorine Marie (Dees) Boone, a devoted mother and career professional, passed away on October 22, 2025, in West Palm Beach, FL. She was born on May 5, 1951, in Albany, NY, and is remembered for her unwavering dedication to family and her successful career as an Executive Assistant.

As the only daughter of the late Willie James Dees and Margaret (Dees) Sandifer, Authorine pursued her education diligently, earning an Associate’s degree. Her career spanned many years at General Electric, where she made significant contributions to her team and honed her skills in a demanding corporate environment.

Authorine married the late Paul Boone, and together they raised two daughters, Andrea and Paula, in Schenectady, NY. The family shared many cherished moments, creating a close-knit bond that remained strong throughout their lives.

In 2010, Authorine relocated to Florida, seeking the warmth of coastal living. This move allowed her to pursue her passion for crafting, which became a favorite pastime. Friends and family remember her as a creative spirit, whose artistic talents brought joy to those around her.

Memorial services for Authorine are scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilborn Temple, located at 161 Jay St, Albany, NY. Following the service, interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest alongside her loved ones.

Authorine’s legacy lives on through her daughters and the many lives she touched during her time on earth. Her commitment to family, career, and creativity serves as an inspiration to all who knew her.
