New Braunfels Hosts Manchester Soccer’s Futsal Camps This Fall
UPDATE: The Manchester School of Soccer has just announced an exciting opportunity for young soccer enthusiasts in New Braunfels. This fall, the school will host its highly anticipated Summer Futsal Camps at Das Rec Green Gym, offering aspiring players an indoor soccer experience focused on developing essential skills.
The camps are set to take place over key school breaks: Thanksgiving on November 24–25, 2023, Holiday sessions on December 22–23, 2023, and an extended Spring Break from March 9–12, 2026. Each camp will run from 2 to 5 PM, providing ample time for intense training aimed at enhancing tactical finesse and creativity on the field.
Parents looking to enroll their young athletes will find the costs straightforward: participation in the Thanksgiving or Holiday camps is set at $140, while the Spring Break session—which offers more playtime—costs $240. Spaces are expected to fill quickly, so prompt registration is encouraged.
These camps represent a significant push to strengthen the local futsal scene, which is renowned for honing players’ technical skills. Officials emphasize that futsal encourages improvisation and creativity, vital components in developing a well-rounded soccer player.
For those interested in registering or seeking further details, more information can be found on the official City of New Braunfels website. This initiative not only provides a platform for skill enhancement but also aims to foster a love for the sport among the youth in the community.
