This week’s nominees include:

Mara Boullion, Ann Arbor Pioneer, Field Hockey
The freshman goalkeeper was instrumental in leading her team to its first-ever MHSAA field hockey state title. Boullion showcased her skills with four saves in both the quarterfinal and semifinal games, and her clutch performance included an impressive 10 saves in the championship match, securing a 2-0 victory over the Dreadnaughts.

Sarah Giroux, Flat Rock, Volleyball
Giroux played a pivotal role in helping the Rams win seven out of eight games last week, including a historic victory over Monroe St. Mary’s Catholic Central that clinched their first Huron League title on October 22. Her stats are remarkable: 97 kills, 40 digs, 13 aces, and five blocks across the week’s matches.

Annie Hrabovsky, Romeo, Track and Field
Hrabovsky continued her excellent season by leading the Bulldogs to both individual and team regional titles on October 25. The junior runner claimed victory in the girls 5K with a blistering time of 17:26.3, contributing to her team’s overall score of 19 points to capture the championship.

Kylie Marcinkowski, Dexter, Field Hockey
The junior midfielder was key in propelling the Dreadnaughts to the championship game against Ann Arbor Pioneer. Over the week, Marcinkowski scored three goals and delivered five shots on goal across quarterfinal and semifinal matches, showing her offensive prowess.

Bryn Mullins, Port Huron, Volleyball
Mullins led her team to a perfect 10-0 season in league play and secured the Macomb Athletic Conference Blue Division title with a dominant win over Chippewa Valley on October 22. The senior finished the match with one ace, one kill, 15 digs, and four assists.
