Elaine Hendrix Confirms Return to DWTS After Injury Recovery

UPDATE: Actress Elaine Hendrix has confirmed her return to rehearsals for Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) after a recent injury that sent her to the hospital. In an urgent video message shared on Instagram just moments ago, the 54-year-old star announced she is recovering well and plans to resume dancing with partner Alan Bersten, 31, starting this Friday.

Hendrix expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans, saying, “I’m doing OK… I am tender. I am sore. But I’m starting pain management today.” The actress experienced severe rib pain during rehearsals for the Halloween Night episode earlier this month, leading to hospitalization. She shared, “I couldn’t move. They brought me to the hospital,” but doctors assured her that with rest, she would be able to continue her journey on the show.

In her latest update, posted on October 29, 2023, Hendrix lamented missing the live Halloween broadcast and shared behind-the-scenes photos of her costume inspired by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road. “The hardest part of yesterday was not being able to show you just how incredible our piece could have been,” she captioned.

Despite her absence, Hendrix and Bersten received a score of 8s from the judges based on footage from their last rehearsal, saving them from elimination thanks to fan votes. “You guys voted, we are going to be safe,” Bersten confirmed during a TikTok Live, assuring fans that they will take it easy this week but return for the next episode.

This development is critical for fans eagerly awaiting Hendrix’s performance as the DWTS competition heats up. With the next live show scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2023, themed around the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, viewers can expect to see Hendrix back in the ballroom soon.

Stay tuned for more updates as Hendrix prepares to hit the dance floor once again, showcasing her resilience and dedication to the competition.
