Joe, who was born on September 9, 1943, in Lowell, Massachusetts, leaves behind his devoted wife of 63 years, Elaine Lizotte, along with his brother Phillip, sisters Nancy Beauchesne and Jeanne Bogdzewic, and three sons—Steven, Jeffrey, and Gregory—each accompanied by their wives. He was also a proud grandfather of six and great-grandfather of three.
