BREAKING: A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Luis Guerrero, 36, charged with attempted murder and multiple firearm offenses following a road rage shooting on June 11, 2023, in Livermore. The incident unfolded around 9:02 AM on eastbound Interstate 580 near Flynn Road when Guerrero allegedly fired several shots at the driver of a Tesla during a confrontation. Despite the alarming nature of the attack, the victim was unharmed and managed to obtain the license plate of Guerrero’s vehicle, a 2005 GMC Yukon, which he reported to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Authorities quickly mobilized, with CHP dispatchers alerting local law enforcement. The Yukon was located by San Leandro police at approximately 11:25 AM, leading to Guerrero’s arrest.
