Antoinette’s Wine Social Set to Open in West Nashville Spring 2024

Antoinette’s Wine Social, a new wine bodega, is scheduled to open in West Nashville at 331 54th Ave. N. in the spring of 2024. Founded by Lauren Antoinette Maranto, the establishment aims to create a welcoming space for community gathering centered around food and wine.

Growing up in Mobile, Alabama, Maranto developed a deep appreciation for the cultural significance of food and beverages. After relocating to Nashville in 2012, she initiated a supper club for friends, fostering connections through shared meals. This experience laid the groundwork for Antoinette’s Wine Social, which seeks to embody the Gulf Coast spirit that Maranto cherishes.

Concept and Offerings

The wine bodega will feature a retail section where customers can purchase a variety of wines, including non-alcoholic options. In addition to individual bottles, Antoinette’s will offer curated hosting boxes filled with wine, snacks, and gifts, catering to those looking to enhance their entertaining experiences.

Customers can also enjoy a diverse beverage menu at the wine bar, which includes wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, CBD beverages, and spirit-free wine cocktails. The food menu will consist of shareable items such as charcuterie boards, sliders, and seafood dishes, encouraging a communal dining experience.

Occupying a 2,400-square-foot building, Antoinette’s will have approximately 1,200 square feet dedicated to customer-facing areas. Maranto envisions a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of visiting a friend’s home, as the space is set to be renovated from an older structure.

A Community Hub

Maranto’s vision for Antoinette’s Wine Social extends beyond simply being a place to purchase wine. She aims to establish it as a community hub where individuals can gather, relax, and enjoy each other’s company. “I really want Antoinette’s to be a community hub — a place for anyone who enjoys gathering together and spending time with their community,” she stated.

The interior design will reflect a moody, vintage ambiance, featuring lounge-style seating arrangements with antique furniture. Maranto hopes to attract a range of wine enthusiasts, from curious beginners to seasoned connoisseurs, making it an inclusive space for all. “It will hopefully provide what everyone in the community needs,” she added.

As the opening date approaches, anticipation is building within the Nashville community. Antoinette’s Wine Social promises to be a unique addition to the local culinary landscape, combining a passion for food and wine with a commitment to fostering community connections.
