Bandfest Day 2 Delivers Spectacular Performances Ahead of Rose Parade

UPDATE: Bandfest Day 2 is electrifying audiences with stunning performances as the countdown to the Rose Parade continues! Taking place at Pasadena City College on December 30, 2025, this annual event showcases the top marching bands set to participate in the iconic parade on New Year’s Day.

The atmosphere at Robinson Stadium is charged with energy as bands from across the globe deliver captivating shows. With rhythmic beats and vibrant displays, the event is a must-see leading up to the Rose Parade.

Today’s thrilling lineup included highlights such as the Homewood Patriot Band from Homewood, Alabama, and the renowned Indiana University Marching Hundred from Bloomington, Indiana. The crowd erupted in cheers as the Pride of Clover Marching Band from Clover, South Carolina, and the Mino Jiyu Gakuen “Golden Bears” Green Band from Toyonaka, Japan, showcased their exceptional talent.

The first session kicked off with the Pasadena City College Herald Trumpets and the Tournament of Roses Honor Band, setting a high bar for the performances to follow. Enthusiastic audiences witnessed the Arcadia Apache Marching Band and Color Guard from Arcadia, California, and the Greendale High School Marching Band from Greendale, Wisconsin, delivering powerful displays filled with emotion.

During the second session, spectators were treated to another round of breathtaking performances. The Franklin High School Marching Band from Franklin, Tennessee, and the United States Marine Corps West Coast Composite Band from San Diego, California, brought the celebrations to a crescendo, leaving attendees eager for the upcoming Rose Parade.

Master of Ceremonies, Jim Hahn, a Music Committee Advisor, praised the dedication of the performers and the excitement building for the parade. “This event brings together the spirit of music and community, uniting bands and audiences in a celebration of talent,” Hahn stated.
